About

I build companies, then I rebuild them.

Full name as it should appear.

I’m the founder of RousseauAi.

Career

I started in a defense lab at Teradyne, working on systems for the B-2 bomber. Then enterprise systems at State Street, Cambridge Information Systems and Signiant. Then Gazelle.com, which I helped scale past $100M before Outerwall acquired it in 2015. Then healthcare operations at LogixHealth.

Confirm the exact roles at Gazelle and LogixHealth so “helped scale” is precise, and whether to mention the B-2 work publicly.

Each role taught the same lesson from a different side. Companies are shaped by their constraints.

AI is loosening one of the biggest constraints of all: the cost of routine cognitive work. That is why I founded RousseauAi.

When a constraint disappears, the winners are the ones who redesign, not the ones who speed up.

What I believe

  1. Don’t automate the old company. Design the next one.

  2. Human judgment becomes more valuable as execution gets cheaper.

  3. A strategy that never reaches production is a hypothesis.

How I work

I design the redesign and I build it.

I’ve implemented AI across a national logistics company, in a jewelry manufacturer’s supply chain, and in a solar company’s operations. I run my own ventures on a small human team and a synthetic one.

Match these claims to the finished proof stories before launch.

I write about all of this in Industry Redesign, one essay a month.

Strategy is human. Execution is increasingly hybrid.
